Samsonite’s Konnect-i is the most affordable Google Jacquard backpack

Samsonite has debuted two new Konnect-i backpacks, nonpareil canonic-sized for $230 and combined slim-sized choice for $200, each equipped with Google's Jacquard technology that can score fabric respond to your stir up.

The technology is working in the selfsame way as in the $880 Yves Saint Laurent Cit-E backpack: a fabric module on the left shoulder strap (made easy to find by parallel lines of raised blusher) is sensitive to your touch, allowing you to assign actions to gestures. They're both available through Samsonite's web shop.

Once you rouse the Jacquard module with the enclosed micro USB cable, you slide it into spot ended the pins on the strap. IT vibrates the bulge when it's correctly installed and is guarded with some fabric to keep IT in place. There are some intelligent tasks available through the Jacquard app, but unless you're biking or driving a scooter or moped, about of them register as organism superfluous for other uses, like casual close. E.g., you can gear up the LED on the Jacquard module to flash in an array of colours when you use a motion. This seems especially profitable for staying visible to cars at nighttime. You bottom set a gesture to drop a PIN number in Google Maps for when you see a cool thing Beaver State place during your travels. It can also Ping your phone to tell you what the next direction is on your way to a destination.

It's not uncommon to spend upwards of $200 on a nice bag for gadgets and some other uses anyway. Getting some newsworthy (if a trifle gimmicky) reach into functionality on top of what seems like an otherwise long-wearing and capacious backpack from Samsonite is upright a percolate.
